Micro Patch Studio

Recognize what changed between sample versions

A project can pass through several samples before its scope and presentation are settled. The differences may concern structure, materials, packaging or simply the artwork shown in a review. Micro Patch Studio treats each version as a separate reference so that colleagues can compare progress accurately. The aim is to make the current sample understandable without losing the context of earlier records.

01

Give each shared sample a clear identity

A useful sample record includes an identifier, a date, its stated purpose and the relevant description. Photographs and supporting files should use that same reference. If the backing, array concept or package changes, the change can be described directly rather than hidden in a new photograph with the old name. This is especially useful when brand and technical colleagues review different parts of the project at different times.

02

Compare the evidence that belongs to each version

An evaluation result belongs to the sample and conditions recorded in that evaluation. A later version may need its own review, particularly when the change affects the feature being examined. Artwork approval also has a defined scope and should not be mistaken for technical approval. Keeping those records distinct allows the team to discuss presentation, structure and available evidence together while understanding which conclusions apply to which version.
